Solution

Dear Student

Magnesium hydroxide, Mg(OH)2

Mass of Mg + (2 × Mass of oxygen) + (2 × Mass of hydrogen )
= 24 + (2 × 16) + (2 × 1)
= 24 + 32 + 2
= 58

potassium carbonate, K2CO3
= (2 × 39) + 12 + (3 × 16)
= 78 + 12 + 48
= 138

aluminium nitride, AlN
= 26 + 14
= 40

calcium bicarbonate, Ca(HCO3)2
= 40 + (2 × 1) + (2 × 12) + (6 × 16)
= 40 + 2 + 24 + 96
= 162
