4. Test tube B: Water plants along with respiration perform photosynthesis (food preparation) as well; therefore it absorbs $C O_{2}$ and releases $O_{2}$ .
5. Test tube C: The $C O_{2}$ released by snail will be absorbed by the plants for photosynthesis, thus there will be a balance of gases.
