He also thought of giving equal opportunities to men and women. He also decides that there will be pre-determined relation structure in the new company with proper division of work among people. He decided that every work in new company will be done according to plan made by him with no permission of change. He appoints Shefali, Arpit, Kunal and Rajesh as heads.of, Sales, Accounts, Purchase and Production departments. He also provides them required authority to do work and fix their responsibilities.
(a) Identify two limitations of planning stated in above paragraph.
(b) Also identify two values which Tanishq wants to communicate to the society by setting up the manufacturing unit. Which type of organization structure would you recommend for manufacturing unit? State any two reasons.

(a) Limitations of planning-
(1) Planning Creates Rigidity:
Although the quality of flexibility is inherent in planning, meaning thereby that in case of need changes can be brought in, but it must be admitted that only small changes are possible.
(2) Planning Involves Huge Costs:
Planning is a small work but its process is really big. Planning becomes meaningful only after traversing a long path. It takes a lot of time to cover this path.
During this entire period, the managers remain busy in collecting a lot of information and analyzing it. In this way, when so many people remain busy in the same activity, the organization is bound to face huge costs.

(b) Value of equality.
proper division of work among its employees.
