Solution

The correct option is C Rs. 10000
Let MP be Rs x.
So, after 205 discount, SP will be x(x×20100)=Rs. 0.8x
If discount was 25%, then the new SP will bex(x×25100)=Rs 0.75x
Difference in SP=500
0.8x0.75x=500
0.05x=500
x=Rs10,000
So, the price of the TV is Rs10,000.
