The sense organs of Ascaris are as follows: Labial papillae are gustoreceptors (or taste-receptors) and are present on three lips. Cervical papillae are tactile organs. Anal papillae are situated below the posterior end of male. There are 5 pairs of postanal genital papillae and 50 pairs of preanal papillae. They are tactile in function and help in copulation.
