Solution

Taylor's present age =x years
His father's age is 20 years more than twice his present age.

So Taylor's father present age =2x+20 years

After 5 years Taylor's age =x+5 years

After 5 years, Taylor's father age =2x+20+5=2x+25 years

After 5 years, Taylor's father will be 3 times as old as Taylor.

So,
2x+25=3(x+5)
2x+25=3x+15
3x2x=2515
x=10 years

Therefore, Taylor's present age =10 years
