Sher Khan adopted the title of Sher Shah and defeated Humayun in the Battle of Chausa (near Buxar) in 1539.
Babur introduced new mode of warfare and led to the popularisation of gunpowder, cavalry, artillery in India.
Although Gunpowder was used earlier too in India, it is Babur who popularised its use.
New war tactics- Guns, muskets and heavy artillery were used by Babur.
