Solution

<!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}--> Squamous epithelial cells are thin, flat and polygonal in shape. They are present in the skin and are majorly associated with protection. The cuboidal epithelial cells are cube shaped cells and mostly found in a single layer. They are present in the inner lining of kidney tubules and are associated with absorption.
