Blood plasma is a pale yellow coloured liquid and the other is the cellular component which has blood cells in it. The three blood cells are red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. Lymph is similar in composition to blood plasma except that it lacks red blood cells, platelets, plasma protein required for clotting and other macromolecules found in the blood.
