Solution

The correct option is A 2250 mL
Capacity of the tank = 2,500 mL

Water available in the jug = 14 L

First of all, let's convert liters to milliliters.

We know that,
1 liter = 1,000 milliliters

So we will multiply 14 with 1,000.

14 L = 14 × 1 L

= 14 × 1000 mL

=250 mL

Hence, out of 2,500 mL capacity of the jug, 250 mL is already filled.

Now we have to find the remaining amount of water to be filled in the jug.

Amount of water required to be filled = Total capacity - water available

Thus, 2,250 mL of water is required to be filled in the jug.
