Solution

The correct option is D Reciting hymns like the Japuji Sahib and Anand Sahib
<!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}--> Guru Gobind Singh Ji prepared the Amrit and asked the first five volunteers to drink it. The Amrit was prepared by adding pure water and patasas or sugar plums to an iron vessel and stirred with a kandha while reciting hymns, like the Japji Sahib, Anand Sahib, Jaap Sahib, Sawaie, and Chaupai. After drinking the Amrit, they were known as the Khalsa. Also, the Panj Piaras and the Guruji suffixed ‘Singh’ to their name. Thus, the Khalsa brotherhood was born.
