Solution

The correct option is B The Battle of Basauli
<!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}--> The Battle of Satluj was fought in 1702 C.E. The Guruji and his Khalsa army were attacked by forces of Bhim Chand and the subedar of Sirhind when they were crossing the river Satluj.

After crossing the Satluj, Guruji reached Basauli. However, Bhim Chand’s army was still in pursuit of the Sikhs. The Guruji met with his allies, the rulers of Basauli and Jasvan who protected the Sikhs from further attacks. A treaty was signed between the Guruji and Bhim Chand in mid 1702 C.E which ensured the Guruji's safe return to Anandpur Sahib.
