Solution

The correct option is B 2 only
<!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}--> Delhi indeed started off as a full fledged state after independence and only after the State Reorganization Commission Act ,1956 it was stripped of its statehood and brought down to Union Territory(UT) status.

Later on in 1991 it was given Special Status through 69th Constitutional Amendment Act under which Assembly elections were held in 1993.

Currently it has its own elected Assembly,Council of Ministers, Chief Minister and High Court.
