i)The p-block elements are those in which the last electron enters any of the three p-orbitals of their respective shells.Since a p-subshell has three degenerate p - orbitals each of which can accomodate 2 electrons,therefore in all there are six groups of p-block elements.The p - block elements consists of metals,non-metals and metalloids.
ii) The general outer electronic configuration of p-block elements is ns2np(1−6)
iii)The p-block elements enter into chemical combination by losing ,gaining or sharing their valence electrons.The noble gases do not show any reactivity.This is because the outermost shell in these elements are completely filled.
