Combustions are of three types which are as follows:
Spontaneous combustion: In spontaneous combustion, a material with a very low ignition temperature suddenly burns without the application of any external ignition. [1 mark]
Rapid combustion: In rapid combustion, a material burns rapidly to produce heat and light when ignited by an external source. [1 mark]
Explosion: In an explosion, a substance burns suddenly and produces a large amount of heat, light and sound when ignited by an external source. [1 mark]
