Each grass bed has a rectangular shape.

$\therefore$The area of each grass bed = $10\times 15=150{cm}^2$

Number of grass beds that were bought = 28

4 beds were unused. Therefore, no. of grass beds used = 28-4 = 24

Thus area of the lawn = $24\times areaofeachgrassbed=24\times 150=3600c{m}^2$
