Solution

Cost of 50 tires =Rs. (120 × 50) = Rs. 6000

After 25% discount, cost price of 50 tires =Rs. 6000 (25100) × 6000 = Rs. 4500

Cost of 1 tire in a batch of 50= Rs. 450050 = Rs. 90

Cost of 50 tires = Rs. (120 × 100) = Rs. 12000

After 35% discount, cost price of 100 tires = Rs. 12000 (35100) × 12000 = Rs. 7800

Cost of 1 tire in a batch of 100 = Rs. 7800100 = Rs. 78

Difference in CP per tire from batch of 50 and 100 = Rs. (90 78) = Rs. 12
