He grew 7 crops out of which two were replanted. Only one crop was grown per acre. Find the net sown area, the area under current fallow lands, and gross cropped area respectively.

The net sown area is the total amount of area used to grow crops in a given year. The areas that are left uncultivated for one agricultural year or lesser is termed as current fallow land.

Gross cropped Area = Net Sown Area + area sown more than once in an agricultural year

From the above definitions, we can conclude Tejas's:
Net sown area = 7 acres
Current fallow land = 20- (7+5)= 8 acres
Gross cropped area = 7+2= 9 acres
