Solution

A) C.P of gardening shears =Rs.250

S.P of gardening shears =Rs.325

Since, S.P > C.P, therefore

Profit S.P C.P =325250

=Rs.75

Profit =ProfitCP×100%

=75250×100%

Profit =30%

B) C.P of refrigerator =Rs.12,000

S.P of refrigerator =Rs.13,500

Since, S.P > C.P, therefore

Profit = S.PC.P =13,50012,000

=Rs.1,500

Profit %=ProfitCP×100%

=150013500×100

Profit =11.11%

C) C.P of cupboard =Rs.2500

S.P of cupboard =Rs.3000

Since, S.P > C.P, therefore

Profit = S.PC.P =30002500

=Rs.500

Profit %=ProfitCP×100%

=5002500×100

Profit =20%

D) C.P of a skirt =Rs.250

S.P of a skirt =Rs.150

Since, S.P > C.P , therefore

Loss = C.PS.P =250150

=Rs.100

Loss %=LossCP×100

=100250×100

=40%

Loss =40%

Hence, solved.
