Temperature is generally increasing making the earth a hot plate. Mention any two measures to control global warming.

Global warming can be controlled by methods:

1. Increase the forest cover. The trees absorb carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gasses from the atmosphere. As a result, the temperature of the earth is prevented from being raised.

2. Renewable sources of energy should be used. Nonrenewable sources of energy such as coal and natural gas burn in air and emit harmful gasses that lead to global warming. On the other hand use of renewable sources such as solar energy, tidal energy and wind energy will not result in global warming.
