Testosterone is secreted from the interstitial cells of Leydig.

Sertoli cells produce and secrete the peptide hormone inhibin B into the circulation as a response to FSH stimulation.

The hypothalamus sends a signal (Gonadotropin releasing hormone- GnRH) to the pituitary gland to release the gonadotropins - Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinising hormone (LH). Luteinizing hormone (LH) stimulates the Leydig cell to produce testosterone.
