Solution

Length of classroom ( l ) = 10 m

Width of class room ( b ) = 6.4 m

Height of classroom ( h ) = 5 m

Floor area given to each student = 1.6m2

Let the total number of students be x.

Floor area of classroom = Total number of students X floor area occupied by each student

l × b = x × 1.6

10 × 6.4 = x × 1.6

x=6.41.6=40

∴ Total number of students accommodated in the room is 40

Volume of air in the classroom = Volume of cuboidal shaped classroom = l × b × h

= 10 × 6.4 × 5 = 320 m3

Now, 40 students got 320 m3 of air

∴ 1 student would get air 32040=8m3

Therefore, each student will get 8 m3 of air.
