Gain $=25\%$

S.P$=\text{CP}+\text{gain}\%$

$=\text{CP}+\frac{\text{gain}}{100}$

S.P$=\frac{\text{CP}\times (100+\text{gain}\%)}{100}$ $=Rs.\frac{1080\times (100+25)}{100}$

$=Rs.\frac{1080\times 125}{100}=Rs.1350\text{Rate of discount}=25\%\therefore \text{Marked~price}=\frac{S.P.\times 100}{(100-discount\%)}=Rs.\frac{1350\times 100}{100-25}=Rs.\frac{1350\times 100}{75}=Rs.1800$
