Solution

The correct option is C 1400
Total amount of apples bought by Arun = 2 kg

Amount of rotten apples = 310kg

First of all, we will have to convert kilograms to grams.

We know that,
1 kilogram = 1,000 grams

Hence, we will multiply 2 with 1,000.

So, 2 kg =2×1 kg
=2×1000 g
=2,000 g

Now, let's calculate the amount of rotten apples in grams.

So we will multiply 310 with 2,000.

310 kg = 310 × 2 kg

= 310 × 2000 g

=600 g

Hence, out of 2,000 g of apples, 600 g were rotten.

Amount of fresh apples = Total apples - Rotten apples

Thus, 1,400 g of fresh apples are left.
