The correct option is A 3x1
Given, p(x)=ax+bp(1)=2, p(2)=5

p(1)=a+b=2a+b=2 ...(i)p(2)=2a+b=52a+b=5 ...(ii)

Subtracting (i) from (ii), we get,
2a+b= 5a ±b=2–––––––––––– a =3

a=3

Substituting in (i), we get,
3+b=2b=23=1

Polynomial p(x)=ax+b=3x1
