Distance covered by the blue runner=D(b)
Speed of the blue runner=S(b)

For both the runners to finish the lap together, they have to cover their respective laps in the same time.

Time=DistanceSpeed

22π seconds=D(b)S(b)

Now, the length of the lap run by the blue runner can be calculated as:

D(b)=2π(radius)=2π×(50+5) =110π m

Hence, the speed of the blue runner can be calculated as:
