$Given: ∠ O A B = 40^{\circ}$

$We know that diagonals of a rhombus are perpendicular to each other. ∴ ∠ A O B = 90^{\circ}$

$In △ A O B$ ,
$By angle sum property, ∠ O A B + ∠ A O B + ∠ O B A = 180^{\circ} 40^{\circ} + 90^{\circ} + x = 180^{\circ}$
$x = 180^{\circ} - 130^{\circ}$
$x = 50^{\circ}$
