Solution

The correct option is A 10440
Here the letter 'i' is reapeated twice. So, there will be 3 cases.

case 1: No 'i' comes:remaining words are 6. From which we have to make6 letter words = 6C66!=720

case 2: Exactly one 'i' comes:remaining words are 6. From which we have to select5 letters. So the total number of words = 6C56!=4320

case 3: Exactly two 'i' come:remaining words are 6, From which we have to select4 letters. So the total number of words = 6C46!2!=5400

total=10440
