The correct option is C 27
Total number of cakes for sale = 36

Fraction of cakes sold on Day 1 =
12

Number of cakes sold on Day 1
= 36×12
= 36÷ 2
= 18

∴ Sid sold 18 cakes on Day 1.

Fraction of cakes sold on Day 2 =
14

Number of cakes sold on Day 2
= 36×14

= 36÷ 4

= 9

Sid sold 9 cakes on Day 2.

∴ Total number of cakes sold in all
= 18 + 9 = 27

Hence, Sid sold 27 cakes in all.
