The correct option is B Both A and R are true but R is not correct explanation of A.
Magnetic force on the current carrying conductor, FB=(il×B) FB=ilBsin0=0 [l||B]

Statement A is correct.

Due to the presence of equal number of electrons and protons inside a conductor, the net charge on the current wire would be zero.

So, statement R is also correct but reason behind statement A is FB=(il×B) & θ=0

Hence, option (b) is the correct alternative.
