$\frac{1}{2}$ = 0.5 is less than 1 but greater than -1, and

$\frac{3}{5}$ = 0.6 which is again less than 1 and greater than -1.

$\frac{3}{2}$ = 1.5 which is greater than both 1 and -1

$-\frac{3}{2}$ = - 1.5 which is less than both 1 and -1 .

Hence only $\frac{1}{2}$ and $\frac{3}{5}$ lies between -1 and 1.
