Let the first term = a, common difference, d = 2

5^th term = a₅ = 18

4^th term = a₅ - d = 18 - 2 = 16

3^rd term = a₄ - d = 16 - 2 = 14

2^nd term = a₃ - d = 14 - 2 = 12

1^st term = a₂ - d = 12 - 2 = 10
