Given,

The probability that a donut is sold on a given day is 20%.
20% of 10 numbers is 2 numbers.

In the trials given, we have numbers containing the digits 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Let say numbers 1 and 2 are assigned for the sale of donuts.

All the numbers containing either or both of the digits 1 and 2 has been highlighted.

So, total number of favorable outcomes is 6.


P(atleast one of the donut sold in next two sales)=Number of favorable outcomesTotal number of outcomes

=610

=35×100
