As we know that above earth surface, the acceleration due to gravity will be

Δg=g2hRe ........(1)

And below earth surface for d depth

g=g(1dRe)

Δg=gdRe .........(2)

From eq. (1) & (2)

d=2h

d=2×1=2 km (h=2 km)
