For time, t = 0 to t = 10 s:
The object moves with uniform acceleration and hence the velocity-time graph will be a straight line with positive slope.
For time, t = 10 to t = 20 s:
The object’s acceleration is zero. For this interval of time, the object moves with uniform velocity. Thus, velocity-time graph is a line parallel to the time axis.
For time, t = 20 to t = 30 s:
The object moves with uniform retardation and hence velocity-time graph will be a straight line with negative slope.

Hence the correct answer is option (a).
