The correct option is C 258 sq. inch
Actual base length of the structure = 8 ft
Base length of the scale drawing = 2 in

So, the scale is = 2 in:4 ft
=1 in:4 ft

We know, 1 feet = 12 inch.
4 feet=4×12=48 inch

So, Scale factor = 148

Now, Area of actual struture is =
Area of triangle + Area of the two rectangles
=(12×2×2)+(5×8)+(8×1)
=50 sq.ft

Area of the scale drawing =
Actual area×(Scale factor)2
=50×(148)2

=50×148×148 sq.ft

=50×12×1248×48 sq.inch

=5016 sq.inch

=258 sq.inch

Area of scale drawing = 258 sq.inch
