Let ABCD be a paralleogram

Given is that the adjacent sides of $||$gm are $15\text{cm}$ and $8\text{cm}$.

Area of parallelogram$=15\times 4=60{\text{cm}}^2$

$\because$ (Area of parallelogram $=$ base$\times$height)

Similarly using the shorter side as base we can find area of the parallelogram to be

$8\times h=60$

$\Rightarrow h=\frac{15}{2}=7.5\text{cm}$
