Open in App
Solution

The distance between longer sides,
EC=2 cm
Let, the distance between shorter sides,
FC=x

Area of the parallelogram =b×h
A=7.5×2
=15 cm2

Now, considering AD as the base and FC as the height.

But the area of parallelogram should remains same,
A=b×h
15=4×h
h=3.75 cm

FC=3.75 cm
