The current through R and L will be the same. The Phasor diagram of the circuit is shown below.


From phasor diagram

V2S=V2R+V2L=702+202=5300

VS=530072.8 V

And the phase difference between the current and voltage is given by,

tanϕ=VLVR=2070

ϕ=tan1(27)

Hence, option (A) is correct.
