Let present age of person = X

Age of person k years ago = X - k

Age of Person k years after = X + k

Now,

$X-K=\frac{1}{2}(X+k)$

$2X-2k=X+k$

$X-3k=0⟹\left(1\right)$

$X+P=3\ast (X-P)$

$X+P=3X-3P$

$2X-4P=0$

$X-2P=0⟹\left(2\right)$

From equation 1 and 2,

$\frac{K}{P}=2:3$
