We know that $1$ year $=12$ months
Then,
Age of Boy $A$ is $6\text{years}8\text{months}=6\times 12+8=80\text{months}$
And ,
Age of Boy is $7\text{years}4\text{months}=7\times 12+4=88\text{months}$
Ratio of age of $A$ to age of $B$
$=\frac{80}{88}=\frac{10}{11}=10:11$
If we divide Rs. $3150$ in $(10+11)=21$ parts
Then,
Boy $A$ will get $\frac{10}{21}$ th of $3150$
$=\frac{10}{21}\times 3150=Rs.1500$

And Boy $B$ will get

$Rs.3150-1500=Rs.1650$
Hence, Boy $A$ will get $Rs.1500$ and Boy $B$ will get $Rs.1650$.
