AIM: To prove acid reacts with metal.

MATERIAL REQUIRED: Test tube, zinc granules, dilute $H C l$ , delivery tube glass through candle soap water.

PROCEDURE: Take $20$ ml of dilute $H C l$ and add zinc to it then the gas being evolved is passed through soap water. Bring a burning candle near gas-filled babble you will notice the gas involved with a pop sound concluding it has hydrogen.
