Solution

ΔABC is a right triangle , right angled at D such that = 10 cm and BD = 10 cm

tanBAD=BDAD
tanBAD=1010=1
tanBAD=tan45
TRIGONOMETRICRATIOS
BAD=45
ΔACD is a right triangle right angled at D such that AD = 10 cm and DC = 103 cm.
tanCAD=CDAD
tanCAD=10310=3
tanCAD=tan60
CAD=60
From (i) and (ii) , we have

BAC=BAD+CAD=45+60=105
