Ohm’s Law states that the current(I) flowing through a given metallic wire in an electric circuit is directly proportional to the potential difference V across the ends of it, provided its temperature remains the same.
I=(1/R)×V
R is a constant for a given material at a given temperature and is called its resistance.
In the question, V=220 V and R=110 Ω
Current(I)=220110=2 Ampere
