Solution

The correct option is D H2O
Solution:- (D) H2O
CH4 has sp3 hybridisation with 4σ bonds.
In C2H6 each carbon atom has sp3 hybridisation with 4σ bonds.
NH3 has sp3 hybridisation with 3σ bonds and 1 lone pair.
H2O has sp3 hybridisation with 2σ bonds and 2 lone pairs.
All the compunds have sp3 hybridisation.
Since H2O has 2 lone pairs (maximum among the given compound), thus due to repulsion, the bond would decrease and hence the bond angle will be minimum.
Hence the bond angle is minimum in H2O.
