Question

The angle between two radii of a circle is 95°,then find the angle between the tangents at the end of the radii?

Open in App
Solution

The tangents and radii will form a quadrilateral...

sum of all angle of quadrilateral =360 deg

Two angles of quadrilateral become 90 deg ( since the angle made by tangents to radii =90,tangents are perpendicular to radii)

third angle is given as 95 degree

so fourth angle = >

Fourth angle+ 90+90+95=360

Fourth angle = 360-90-90-95

=85 degree
