Let the required angle be $x^{\circ }$.
It is given that $x^{\circ }$ makes a linear pair with ${61}^{\circ }$.
As we know in a linear pair sum of angles is ${180}^{\circ }$
$\therefore x+{61}^{\circ }={180}^{\circ }\Rightarrow x={180}^{\circ }-{61}^{\circ }={119}^{\circ }$.
