The angles of a quadrilateral are x,(x10),(x+30) and (2x). Find the value of the greatest angle. (2 marks)

By angle sum property, sum of angles of a quadrilateral will be 360°.
Given the angles are
x,(x10)°,(x+30)° and 2x° .

x+(x10)+(x+30)+(2x)=360°
5x+20°=360
5x=360°20°=340°
x=3405=68 (1 mark)

The angles are 68,6810,68+30,2×68

i.e.68,58,98,136.

Greatest angle =136 (1 mark)
