Let three angles be (a−d)∘, a∘ and (a+d)∘
Then, (a−d)∘+a∘+(a+d)∘=180∘
⇒(3a)∘=180∘⇒a=60∘
Given, greatest angle is twice of least angle
∴(a+d)∘=2(a−d)∘
⇒a=3d⇒60∘=3d⇒d=20∘
Hence, required angles are (60∘−20∘), 60∘ and (60∘+20∘), i.e. 40∘,60∘ and 80∘.
∴ The greatest angle is 80∘
