The angles of a triangle are in the ratio of 1:3:5. Find the measure of each one of the angles.

Let the ratio be x

So, the angles are x,3x,5x

x+3x+5x=180° (by angle sum property)

9x=180°x=180°9=20°

Hence, first angle x=20°

Second angle 3x=3(20°)=60°

Third angle 5x=5(20°)=100°
